I called earlier and I'm hoping to have my husband of 17 years put on a continued prayer list. He is a Marine Veteran with ptsd and possibly going through a midlife crisis. He has walked out on me and our 9 year olds, one with Autism. This has been devastating to all of us. We also have a older daughter and grandchildren. He layed done old habits at the end of 2009 and has recently picked them back up. One being alcohol, and he got a DUI back then. He also left twice that same year......the year we got married. I fear today being his Birthday he may end up at a bar making more poor choices.

I have been in an abusive marriage for many years, and I have suffered greatly from his controlling behavior. Only God knows how broken I have been because of this marriage. There is nothing left to fix. I need prayers that this marriage will finally come to an end. I have asked him for a divorce, but he just doesn’t understand. Today, he even threatened me with violence. I ask for prayers that he will accept the divorce and allow me to go without causing me harm, hurt, or shame. I also pray that he will find freedom from anger, hate, and revenge, and experience peace instead.

I’m having a tough time sleeping tonight. I am very anxious and half way worried about some of the consequences of my sin. I reached out to a reverend that works at my church about some homosexual posts on Facebook and asked to meet and it’s causing me a lot of stress. I don’t want to cause any issues and make things difficult. Please pray for me to have peace and that I can get some sleep. Thank you.
