Hulvey Leaves Reach Records
Hulvey Announces Final Album with Reach Records as Contract Comes to an End
LF Radio artist Hulvey has confirmed that his upcoming album will be his final release under Reach Records, marking the end of a multiyear artistic partnership with the influential Christian hip hop label.
In a message shared on his social media channels, Hulvey said his contract with Reach Records is expiring, and he is seeking guidance on what the next chapter of his career and ministry will hold. While he expressed deep gratitude for his time with the label, he indicated this upcoming project will conclude that chapter of his recording career.
“I will be releasing my last album with Reach Records,” Hulvey wrote, noting that Reach “took a shot on a kid … with nothing going for him except his faith in The Lord.” He reflected on the role the label played in his artistic development and personal life, including meeting his wife through connections he made there. Hulvey thanked key Reach staff, including A&R executive Ace Harris, founder Ben Washer, and fellow LF Radio artist Lecrae, for their support and mentorship.
Hulvey also reaffirmed his faith and mission, quoting John 15:5, and emphasizing that what matters most to him is serving “the Kingdom” through his music. He concluded his statement by encouraging fans to pre save the new album, which he hinted may be released very soon.
Background & Career
Hulvey, born Christopher Michael Hulvey in 1999, signed with Reach Records in 2019, a deal first made public in 2020, and released his first project with the label, the Prelude EP, shortly thereafter. Over the years with Reach, he built a solid Christian hip hop presence, releasing projects including his debut album Christopher and more recent work like CRY and the 2025 EP HE WILL RETURN.
Under Reach, Hulvey also enjoyed notable collaborations and success within the broader CHH community, including commercial streaming achievements with tracks like “No Longer Bound” and Altar with LF Radio artist Forrest Frank that earned mainstream certification milestones.
As of early 2026, Hulvey’s next steps beyond his final Reach Records album, whether independent music, a new label partnership, or a ministry focus, have not been publicly detailed.
