KB
A mainstay in CHH for more than a decade. For more than a decade, KB has been a mainstay in Christian Hip Hop as he burst on to the scene in 2012 with his debut album, Weight & Glory, which reached the top of the U.S. Christian charts. That debut album came several years after KB began exploring the opportunities to become a part of the rap scene. His first opportunity came about at Bible college when he became friends with a group of Christian rappers and they formed a group known as HGA (His Glory Alone). Posting their music to social media sites, it caught the attention of Lecrae, who invited KB and HGA out on tour. From there, KB signed with Lecrae's Reach Records and released 2 more albums, 2015's Tomorrow We Live, and 2018's Today We Rebel. Both of which reached #1 on the charts as well.
In 2020, KB switched record labels to Essential Sound and released his fourth album, His Glory Alone, in that same year. His Glory Alone is more than music as KB also helped to spearhead the Native Supply clothing brand, which features all sorts of clothing with the HGA brand.
In addition to his music and clothing, the husband of Michelle and father of 3, is busy as the co-host of the Southside Rabbi podcast. The international recording artist is joined by his best friend, Ameen Hudson, where the St. Petersburg, Florida natives share their love of Jesus and culture on the show.
2023 continues to keep KB busy as he wrote a book, "Dangerous Jesus: Why The Only Thing More Risky Than Getting Jesus Right Is Getting Jesus Wrong". He is currently out on tour with 2 of the biggest artists in worship music, Brandon Lake and Phil Wickham. And on August 11th, he will release his fifth studio album, His Glory Alone II.
