Lecrae to Drop 10th Album Soon
Lecrae Announces New Album Reconstruction with Lead Single “Tell No Lie” Set to Drop June 27
Christian hip hop pioneer Lecrae is set to release his highly anticipated tenth studio album, Reconstruction, continuing the personal and spiritual narrative he began with 2020’s Restoration. The multi-platinum artist, known for blending raw vulnerability with bold faith, announced the project via social media on June 24, writing, “Broken people can be restored. Broken faith can be renewed. This is more than an album. It’s Reconstruction.”
The album’s lead single, “Tell No Lie,” arrives June 27 and is already available for presave and streaming across digital platforms. Early teasers suggest the track will deliver Lecrae’s trademark mix of lyrical transparency and cultural commentary, setting the tone for what he calls a “healing and rebuilding” journey.
A Sequel to Restoration
Reconstruction serves as a conceptual sequel to Restoration, Lecrae’s deeply personal 2020 album that chronicled his battles with depression, doubt, and the unraveling of identity. Now, Reconstruction picks up where that story left off—highlighting what it means to put the pieces back together.
“This isn’t just music. It’s therapy. It’s testimony,” Lecrae shared in a video on Instagram. “I’ve lived through the breaking. This album is about what happens after.”
Lecrae’s Comeback Season
Since Restoration, Lecrae has remained active both in and out of the studio. He released the Church Clothes 4 mixtape in 2022 and more recently collaborated with rising West Coast artist Miles Minnick on the joint EP Get Well Soon!, which dropped in May 2025.
The EP, praised for its energetic production and message of encouragement, previewed the hopeful yet gritty sound fans can expect from Reconstruction.
In addition to new music, Lecrae has confirmed that a 2025 tour is on the way in support of the album—an announcement that has Christian hip hop fans buzzing with anticipation.
Lecrae’s Legacy Continues
Lecrae has long stood at the crossroads of mainstream credibility and Christian conviction. A Grammy-winning artist with an extensive catalog and a voice for social change, Lecrae continues to push boundaries while staying rooted in his mission: using music to inspire transformation.
With Reconstruction, he isn’t just telling his story—he’s inviting listeners to pick up the pieces of their own.
“This album is for anyone who’s been through the fire and is still standing,” Lecrae said. “It’s time to rebuild.”
