Anike Welcomes Baby Girl
Anike Welcomes Baby Dees, Balances Motherhood and Music
LF Radio artist Anike (formerly known as Wande) has stepped into a brand new season of life and artistry with the joyful announcement of her first child’s birth.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Anike introduced “Baby Dees” to the world, writing: “Welcome Baby Dees! Praise God for allowing me to be blessed with such a precious gift .Thank you to everyone who has been so supportive throughout the pregnancy process and my amazing delivery team! Be encouraged to do life God’s way, the righteous are never forsaken. He sees you #nocap.”
The Reach Records rapper revealed that her daughter was born in August 2025, adding with humor that she wanted to “get [her] life together before posting.” She also took time to celebrate fellow mothers, calling them the “real MVPs,” while teasing fans with “Prego recap chronicles” to come.
Faith, Family, and Music Collide
The arrival of Baby Dees comes during a milestone year for Anike, who has been weaving her motherhood journey into her music. Back in May, she released “Ultrasound”, a vulnerable track reflecting her gratitude for God’s blueprint over her life and her child’s future. In June, she followed up with “Watch Her Glow”, an energetic anthem uplifting women in every stage of life, whether single, dating, married, or “in mama mode.”
Even amid her pregnancy, Anike continued to rise musically. Her earlier single “WAKANDE” caught national attention after being highlighted on the Joe Budden Podcast’s “Sleeper Picks” segment, further expanding her reach beyond Christian hip-hop circles.
What’s Next for Anike
With the arrival of her daughter, Anike is embracing both motherhood and artistry as intertwined callings. Fans can expect more transparency and storytelling from the rapper, who has already hinted at documenting her pregnancy journey.
As she told her followers: “Be encouraged to do life God’s way, the righteous are never forsaken. He sees you #nocap.”
From charting hits to late night feedings, Anike’s next chapter promises to be as real and inspiring as the music that has defined her career.
LF Radio wishes Anike and her new family of three all the very best!
